My name, Rafał Charłampowicz, can be written in English as Rafal Charlampowicz and is pronounced [ˈrafaw xarwamˈpɔvit͡ʂ].

I hold a degree in English studies, but professionally I work in digital accessibility. If you'd like to learn more about my work, visit my profile on LinkedIn.

I write sporadically—much less often than I'd like. Like anyone who creates, I'm convinced I have something interesting to say. And since speaking always implies an audience (unless you're talking to yourself), I show my texts.

Some of my stories were published in Szortal online magazine, which no longer exists; others appeared in collections that aren't always easy to find, a few still await completion, and I also have a growing list of new ideas. It would be a pity not to share them, even though I'm aware these are amateur stories.

I write in Polish. The texts you can read here are my own translations, and with time there will be more. By the way, the name of this website, Trochę tekstów, means "Some texts."

My writing is influenced by Stanisław Lem, Stefan Grabiński, Philip K. Dick, and H.P. Lovecraft. I love dream-like atmospheres and open-ended narratives.
